Mehrdad leads NAMVAR Construction’s day-to-day operations while directing its strategic growth and development.

After growing up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Mehrdad attended Texas A&M University in College Station where he earned his BS degree in Construction Science.  Shortly after, he began his career in Dallas, TX with Manhattan Construction working on a 22 story high-rise in Uptown.  He then had the opportunity to join Harvey Cleary Builders in 2003 with their newly started office in Austin, TX.  While in Austin, he quickly excelled and was given top leadership roles within the organization.  In 2008, Mehrdad was challenged with the opportunity to start-up a new branch office in San Antonio, TX as Regional Manager.  He successfully grew his team and office to becoming the 5th largest local Commercial General Contractor and 2nd largest local Interior Commercial General Contractor with annual billings upwards of 140 Million as published in the San Antonio Business Journal 2015 Book of Lists.  He has overseen some of San Antonio’s most revered projects like Hotel Emma at the Pearl, Cellars  Apartments at Pearl, Alamo Manhattan Riverwalk Apartments, La Cantera Resort Renovations and Spa, and La Cantera West-Ridge Office Park.
